The Rainbow Farm School provides a non-traditional alternative to public K-6 education in a multi-age, cooperative setting to nurture the unique learner in every child. Research-based best practices in Early Childhood and Elementary Education provide the framework for our programming and philosophy.
Our goal is for a holistic education - encompassing real life skills, outdoor education, experience and play, incorporated with academic skills necessary for success in life, critical thinking, arts, physical education (including steady yoga practice,) fostering creativity and inquiry, a focus on Peace Education, conflict resolution, pro-social skills and teaching tolerance, all in a Healthy, home-like setting.
